On 22 October 2022, Credit rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) reaffirmed bpha’s long-term credit rating of A+ (stable)
In their Research Update, S&P have commented that:
- bpha have a robust management track record, with extensive experience and good understanding of its business opportunities and challenges
- bpha will retain very strong liquidity, underpinned by the group’s comprehensive liquidity policy
- they positively view treasury planning helping generate interest cost savings
- debt build-up will be slower than previous base case
S&P also reaffirmed at A+ the senior secured debt rating on bpha’s outstanding bonds issued by bpha Finance plc.
