bpha appoints new Non-Executive Director to its Board

bpha are pleased to announce that Paul High has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director to the bpha Board effective from 18 April 2018. He will also be the Chair of bpha’s ‘for profit’ development subsidiary, Bushmead Homes Ltd.

Paul brings over 36 years’ experience in residential development and property management, the majority of which has been in the housing association sector.

He arrives at bpha having been responsible for the strategic leadership of the Orbit Homes’ Property Investment Programme, the housebuilder of Orbit Group, for eight years.

In his role as Executive Director Property Investment, Paul was responsible for delivering over 1,700 new homes in the Midlands, East Anglia and the South East in 2015-16. Previously he was the Director of Development and Asset Management at WM Housing Group and the Director of Development at Castle Vale Housing Action Trust in Birmingham.

He also spent three years whilst at Orbit as a board member of Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT). Paul said: “I am very happy to be appointed to the board of bpha and its subsidiary Bushmead Homes.

“I look forward to helping the organisation maximise its development programme in order to deliver high-quality affordable homes, as well as providing a revenue stream to reinvest into the organisation’s charitable aims.”

Paul was appointed as co-opted bpha Board member on 1 January 2017.
